We believe in locally produced, seasonal and organic food at its best.

Taverner's family farm shop sells a huge variety of delicious produce including, local vegetables, fresh local bread, cheeses, locally produced honeys, jams and pickles, milk, cream and yoghurt, pressed apple juice and local soft drinks. Our eggs are produced by our own flocks of laying hens, rescued from battery farms, now free to forage in a natural, spacious environment.

Organic, Local and Free Range Meat & Game
The farm shop butchery also sells Taverner's organic beef, organic lamb, homemade sausages and burgers, as well as local pork and Creedy Carver chicken from Crediton. Our butchers are happy to give you professional advice about the best cuts and ideas for cooking them.

Special orders can be taken for all occasions, from Sunday Roasts and dinner parties, to BBQ's and seasonal game and poultry for Christmas and Easter holidays.

Orange Elephant Ice Cream
With over 25 sumptuous flavours in production, you can also take home our own ice-cream, made every week from the rich, creamy milk of our South Devon Herd.
